Today's changes to interest rates

Here are the changes the main banks have made to retail interest rates on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, so far.

For home loans:

No changes to report today.

For savings accounts:

No changes here either.

For term deposits:

ANZ has raised its 6 month TD rate by +10 bps to 5.10%, but cut its 2 year TD rate by -25 bps, also to 5.00%.

Meanwhile Westpac has made changes to one of its TD 'specials'. Their eight month 'special' is now 5.15%, up a slight +5 bps for its online rate, up the same +5 bps to 5.05% for its assisted 'special' for that same term. They did not change any standard rates, not its 1 year 'special'.
