Here are the changes the main banks have made to retail interest rates on Monday, September 21, 2026, so far.
For home loans:
No changes to report today.
For savings accounts:
No changes here either.
For term deposits:
NAB has raised its nine month TD rate by +10 bps to 3.80%. More importantly, it has raised its one year rate to 5.30%, als a +10 bps increase.
Meanwhile, Westpac has raised its 'special offer' one year rate by +10 bps as well, to 5.30%, matching Commbank and NAB (above), but behind Macbank's 5.35% and well below the 5.50% offered by Bank Australia and Qudos Bank.
