Macquarie isn't letting any competitor offer meaningful advantages in term deposit rates.
Today (Wednesday) they have raised a set of five rates by +5 bps. That may not seem material, but it means they don't have a disadvantage to any challenger bank.
And it keeps substantial pressure on their main rivals, extending their rate offer advantages - which were already notable.
